Classic games, nothing too scary - obviously.

Maybe like carving a few pumpkins with parents and like bobbing for apples.

LIke fun games and all that jazz.

I have twin two sons and we throw a Halloween party every year. However, when they were younger i didn't want the other children to be scared by the decorations so i looked for Halloween decorations that had their favorite Disney characters doing something regarding the holiday. (ex: goofy dressed as a wizard, mickey as a super hero)

Try to surround the theme based on your child's favorite super hero and work from there. Use plenty of webs around the house and in different colors. The kids love those. in certain areas of the room, have dry ice in water so that is creates the effect of smoke, but keep away from the kids.

Instead of a traditional cake, i made over 70 cup cakes. this is less of a mess and the children don't have to worry about finding a place to sit or standing with plates and forks. They're easy to decorate and arrange. Have little party bags with candy but gender neutral so you save money on either the boys or girls. As for games, i do apologize, i cant help you there but any other decoration and food ideas, please let me know.

what i see alot at little kids Halloween parties, is Winnie the Pooh.

all the characters are dressed up as Ghosts, and Tigers, and other things.

Im sure you will find Winnie the Pooh decorations, and it wont be to scary for the kids. also you can find little pumpkins at a grocery store for like a dollar each, and the kids can draw funny faces on them and take them home.

also, kids would love to play something like a scavenger hunt for candy, if candy is included, they'll most likely love it.

i would say bobbing for apples, but there 3 year olds, so that may not be a good idea.

and for the food, check out this link;

hope i helped, and good luck!

You can also cut out pumpking shapes in orange construction paper, and kids can decote them with paint, glitter etc.

Get Orange and Black Playdoh.

Halloween coloring pages.

You can make ahead orange cookie dough (vanilla cookie dough with red and yellow food color) and buy halloween cookie cutters. Children loove to cut the cookies out, and it will only take 8 minutes for you to bake them. They get to eat the cookie they "made".

No scary decorations, just buy cute ones.

Painting pumkins is safer than carving, and if you buy guard and mini pumpkins it might be cheaper. When I was younger I loved fave paint! You could have someone artsy in your house paint the children as clowns and cats. Glow in the dark paint is also fun! Safety first, and have fun!

Painting pumpkins, try not to have the decorations be scary but fun and inviting.

painting pumpkins is cool. not as hard as carving. everyone gets a little pumpkin and paint and go to town. (tableclothes a must)
