Don't worry about it. A lot of toddlers have very little hair.
When my daughter was two she was close to bald. All she had was "baby head" kind of hair - blond and almost non-existent. I happened to go to a dance recital and was thinking about how if I put her in dancing school when she was three she may be in a recital next year - and almost bald. I thought, "None of these little girls are close to bald."
By the time she was three (and in dancing school) she had shoulder length, real, hair.
If you really think about it, a lot of two-year-olds still have "baby head/hair", but you don't really see three-year-olds with the same thing. Your toddler will have hair soon.

brushing your child's hair regularly, even when there's nothing much there it stimulates the hair follicle's to grow.

the only thing you can do is gently massage the head while shampooing or anytime but its easiest while shampooing.
This stimulates the follicles.
Whatever you do the saving technique is only illusion and does not promote growth so unless you like the style on your child there is no reason to try it.

Every child grows differently. Some people have thick hair... some have thin hair. Really nothing out of the ordinary. However, when your child goes to the Dr. next for a check up or for an illness... mention it. See what they say. It can't hurt to ask and it should make you feel better. Best of luck!!

Hair loss affects both men and women. Here are some natural remedies that can help boost hair growth: https://tinyurl.im/aH7Sv While genetics plays a role, there are other factors, including: hormonal imbalances, an underactive thyroid gland, nutrient deficiencies and insufficient scalp circulation.

my daughter's hair really didn't start to thicken up until she was around two. i just kept it cut short and neat. it finally started growing out after that. don't worry. :)

it will grow when it grows, there is nothing you can do to speed it up. If it's bothering you that much, you could try stimulating the scalp by gentle brushing with a soft baby hairbrush, but really, it will grow when it grows.
In the meantime, make sure the little one wears a hat when outside to protect their scalp.
Hair, teeth, feet.... they are all unpredictable and grow when your child's body is ready.

My daughter is 2&1/2 and her hair is just now starting to thicken. I have taken her for a trim to even up the odd growth, but I can see the undergrowth is there and it will not be long until she has a thick head of hair. Until then look for nice pretty bows to hlep you feel better about your daughters hair, and sit and wait it out...It wil be there and they you need to figure out how your are going to keep up with it on a daily basis...start thinking of all the fun you are going to have when she wants to help brush and dry her own hair. Sitting and waiting myself. Good Luck

Maybe...he/she dont get enough sleep and good and healthy diet..
maybe he/she have some illness.
because this things slow down the growth and development of a child.there for the right thing to do is let her sleep 8-10 hours have a good diet and maybe she will have a nice hair growth...

It may be nothing, but ask the pediatrician about the possibility of a thyroid problem.
