is it wrong for a 13 year old to date a 16 year old?

Okay so im 13 year old girl . and im in love with a guy that is 16 and we both love each other very much im not going to say in love cause allot of people think teenagers can't be in love but.he has always respect me and been the sweetest person with me,but things happen that pro bally shouldn't have happen but i mean i don't put this blame on him.i love him and we where both okay with doing this well i was,but my parents found out and they say its wrong i want to know what does age have to do with love :( because he means so much to me.he made a big difference in my life and i just want to let my parents know what i did was wrong i know but what i feel for him is true,and i don't wan To date him behind my parents back because i do love him and i want them to accept this strong feeling

You may not think he's using you but he must be on some level because you will understand when you're 16 but 13 is young. You just went through puberty, you just started dating...you shouldn't be having sex

It's one thing if a 17 year old and 20 year old date...but 13 and 16 is not so much a big age gap but a big maturity gap

OK my parents are like 10 or 11 years apart. but i guess there's a difference because back then in the 1900's teen pregnancy wasn't as big of a problem as it is now. You shouldn't be having sex because your are only thirteen years old. Think, 2 years ago you were eleven. and this boy can have a disease. you can get aids or stds or anything. THINK. Do you have a brain. And before we skip, What are your grades like? Focus on them instead of having sex and this boy.

No this is not ok. A girl at your age shouldn't be dating but i admit it happens. But being intimate with him is also a no no but i know i can't really give advice because i know your not going to listen.
