usually children eat what they need.

dont try and force him.

why do you want him to be chubby, thats ridiculous.

various foods eg green leafy vegetables, meat etc contain iron,if he dos not like these foods, give him an iron supplement.,but i suggest you see a doctor anyway.

Hello there. I have found that food activities help. For instance, art projects with Cheerios or even making animals with cut up fruit pieces and toothpicks. You do it enough and some of that food is bound to pop into that little mouth. As far as the iron deficiency, if you aren't already, it's a good idea to put him on a children's multivitamin. They come in great flavors and shapes. They even come as gummy candy and bubble gum.(they offer some with extra iron just for deficiencies too) One more suggestion...PediaSure shakes. These shakes insure total nourishment for little people who don't eat much. If they have those where you are try them. The flavors are great and it provides the nutrients that a healthy meal would. Hope this helps you out. Take Care

My son has always been a solid little guy (35 lbs at 2 1/2 yrs.). His iron is low. Ketchup helps him eat most meats. A nurse suggested to me to look for cereal that is fortified with at least 25% of the recommended daily allowance of iron for him to have as a snack.

Stop providing him with the things he "likes" and only offer what he doesn't "like" whether he eats it or not. Eventually he will get hungry enough to eat the foods that are good for him rather than just the foods he "likes". YOU are the parent YOU have to be in control not him.

Try giving him the supplenment drinks we have pediasure in US, it tastes kind of like milk but is packed with vitamin and minerals, spinich and dark chocolate ave plenty of iron. Or just have him take the chewy kids vitamins.

peanut butter will help out his iron

maybe his taste buds aren't functioning, never knew of a kid disliking chocolate :)

my kids can go days without eating and then they pig out and then it seems they're starving again. He will let you know when he is hungry.

hello I had day care for 15 years..... best way to get child to eat is to let them help prepare the food...sandwiches...cake...which ever way child can help in the kitchen.... . this helps them have appitite.........but cannot expect child to be chubby when his disposition may be slenderness.
