My niece has a 2 month old and a three year old. I help my niece by having the three year old stay with me during the weekends or at least one day of it. Other relatives take the baby for a few hours during the weekends. That way she has some time to recover.

I have been through this, you just have to keep them busy, or else they will keep themselves busy throwing all of your china on the floor. Devote a lot of time to games, coloring, playing outside. Read to them, most of the terrible twos can be avoided with a little extra attention. Also, only praise good behavior, and don't spend a lot of time on the bad stuff. Otherwise they will do the naughty stuff just to get attention.

I'd rather have a room full of two year olds than one four year old. LOL
