My two and a half year old poops a lot !! And when I say a lot I literally mean a lot. Before when my grandmother lived with us I just thought her always feeding him caused him to poop a lot. But its been 6 months since she passed and he's still doing it ! I always felt it was normal but my cousin came over and he pooped then about half hour later he was poop and she said "oh my god again?" Then i realized this can't be normal. I change more poop diapers then I do urine. I go through at least 10-15 diapers a day with him. It's not Diaherra either.. never is unless he is sick. He's up to dates with his shots and I never brought it up the the doctor because like I said I always thought it was normal. I have to wait till tomorrow to make him a doctor appointment to ask about it but I just wanted to get an idea on why this happens to him.

Btw my 4 year old doesn't have this problem amd never did. They eat all the same foods, drinks etc

Wow. This sounds like your little son is quite the poo producer... I'd suspect what is known as hypermotility here, basically your son's bowel is literally moving food through at such a pace that it's in one end and out of the other before it barely has time to get started. It doesn't necessarily produce diarrhea either.

There are agents which can be used in older kids, like teenagers onward, to slow the bowel down, such as small doses of Codeine Phosphate, or Lomotil, but they're not suitable for use under the age of about 12 years old, so it's a doctor you really do need to speak to. They'd have a lot more insight into this than anyone on here would, even me.

That does seem like a lot. I have a 2-year-old as well and he only poops once or twice per day. Then again, what is "normal" for one person could be different for another person. I mean this actually could be normal for your son, and the fact that this is all solid stool doesn't really raise any flags with me. If it was liquid stool then that could be a sign of a bigger problem. I am not sure. I would say just be sure he has a balanced diet and maybe add some yogurt and a daily vitamins into his diet. That may help. In the mean time talk to his doctor, but I think he should be okay. Maybe he will grow out of it.

Yeah, i could say she truthfully has a touch virus. would not sound love it rather is basically too intense. yet in all probability the worst of it good now could be her rash. undesirable toddler. very undemanding. this could sound loopy, yet I easily have been there with my kiddos, and that i visit permit you already know what grow to be greater decrease priced and worked greater valuable than each and every diaper rash cream on the marketplace - an previous type treatment that they used to apply in the past that they had diaper cream - Crisco. Yeah, i'm not kidding. that's greater valuable than vaseline with the aid of fact it would not have petroleum so which you do not threat petroleum allergic reactions, and it is so thick, you could basically layer it on and not something gets via it. So below, the floor can heal. in case you have gloves, basically slather it on; if not, worst case concern, basically purchase a shower and rub the clean diapers it it in the past you positioned it on her. so a ways as all her different indicators, there is rather not something to do yet shop her hydrated and wait it out. If she gets a fever, you need to use the acceptable dose of Tylenol or Motrin.

increase his fiber & water intake, avoid all cow's milk products, have him practice using the toilet, keep a food diary, increase his probiotic intake, and see the pediatrician.

I think this is a troll. There is no way a grown-up writes like this. The grammar in this post looks like the speaking errors that a four year old makes.

Okay, you've confirmed it now. Thanks.
