When my children were younger, they got nosebleeds also. And, I did as a child. I still do, occasionally. One of the reasons that I have been told (by a physician) was that the tissues in my nasal passages dry out too much . . . not enough humidity in the air I breathe. This normally happens in the winter time. Try keeping putting a little humidity into the house, and see if that helps.

It isn't "normal" for anyone to get nosebleeds. There are several reasons for this type of thing to occur. If the air in the house is especially dry, he could just have dried out mucous membranes. A humidifier in his bedroom would help with this. He could have allergies which are causing inflammation in the lining of his nose and nasal passages. He could have some sort of infection in his sinuses. He could just be sticking his fingers (and other objects) up his nose constantly causing tearing in the lining of his nasal cavity. These are just some of the more common reasons for frequent nose bleeds. He should definately be checked out by a doctor to rule out some of the more serious conditions. The CBC coming back normally is a good start, but I would continue to investigate the situation. Good luck.

buy a humidifier. He/she may have dry nasal passages. Buy some vics for kids and put it above his lip...if this doesn't help i'd definitely see his/her physician.
