Yes you change them, bathe them too. I stopped using a changing table once my baby was ready to walk. At 1 year old. Id change her standing up.

So what you are saying is the 5 yr old is still in diapers and you are asking if a diaper changing table should be used? If the child can comfortably fit on the diaper changing table to be diapered then fine, use the diaper table. If the child is too big for the diaper changing table then use the floor or the bed for diapering.

I never used a changing table for my daughter. I just used a waterproof changing pad or a towel on the floor or on the bed. I stopped changing her when she was just about to turn 3 years old because she was potty trained by then.

What! that's stupid, my 8 month old is 20 lbs! A 20 lbs shrink is ridiculous! i alter my infant everywhere lol I did it interior the crib before we decreased it, on our mattress, on the floor, on the sofa. I incredibly have a versatile cloth (yet water data) substitute pad I in simple terms throw below her in simple terms incase she pees throughout her substitute. on the mall I nevertheless use those on the wall substitute tables. I havent appeared at a weight shrink, besides the undeniable fact that it form of feels to assist her in simple terms high quality. Ice in no way observed the substitute table look unsecure in any respect

I work at a daycare and we change the children on a changing table until they are too big for it. If their head hits the top or their knees bend over the bottom, they are too big!

You can keep using it until they either don't fit or reach a weight that it no longer feels stable. I used mine until we had to put it temporarily in storage a few months ago, my daughter is 2. At 5 though, I'd think it would be more convenient on a bigger surface.
