What is a good treat to take to school that is for a "beach" theme?

**This is for a preschool class for 4 & 5 year olds** Preferably healthy treats, but will take any ideas.

make a cake round or oblong stick it in hte freezer for about an hour ...cut out somewhat of a shape of a lake or beach .....frost the area around the cutout with a sandy color frosting( vanilla with with a bit of peanutbutter makes great color) frost the cutout part with vanilla frosting out back in the freezer for a bit ..while in the freezer mix blue jello,,,take cake out of freezer our in jello set in fridge until jello is done and add whatever you want to the beach

Bake cookies shaped like surf boards. You can make a cookie cutter by drawing a surf board shape on a piece of cardboard, then lay that on the dough and use a paring knife to cut the shape. After baking, decorate with colored frosting to make it look like a surf board.



If you want to get more creative you can make lots more shapes with cardboard cut-outs - seashell, sail boat, seah horse, sand shovel, etc.

You take cupcake mix pour it into an ice creamcone and bake it rises like an icream cone would then decorate however you like. My daughter love them. Sorry not the healthiest.

Dehydrated fruit makes great snacks for kids. It's good for them and it's sweet so they love it. And not much mess involved ;}

pineapple/strawberry/jello skewers (but insetead of skewers, use plastic cocktail stirring rods- the ones with the round ends)
