Child care business cards/magnets info to put on them?

I run a daycare, I'm going to order new business cards & refrigerator magnets. I will give them out to parents, with tips at a restaurant, put them up on bulletin boards, etc. I'm trying to decide if I should put my address (street & town) on them. I know that when I was looking for day care, I would drive by the providers house before I would want to set up an interview (or if I couldn't get ahold of the address before setting up an interview, I would drive by, & if it was in a location out of my way or if it looked like a dump, I would cancel). So I'm trying to decide if it would be more helpful to the parents & not waste my time if I included my address (street & town), but at the same time, I don't know if that would be appropriate. What do you think?

I don't think I would put my home address. There are a lot of crazy people out there. I would put my phone number and email.



Vistaprint.com has some really inexpensive cards. If you have a upromise account buy through their site and you will get a discount. That is where I would buy my business cards for real estate. Leave your card in public restrooms.

My rule of thumb is keep to the basics on business cards, don't over crowd them with services/taglines. All people really want is how to contact you.



So I would put this crucial infomation on them:

- Company Name (well, daycare name)

- Company Logo

- Your Name

- Your Title

- Phone

- Fax (if you have)

- email

- webaddress (if you have)

- Address (see below)



Your concerns about your address are valid. But think of it this way, as soon as they set up an appointment with you, they will know your address, and can do the driveby. The bigger concern I would have it about having my home address on a business card. There are alot of crazies out there, and I don't think I wold advertise where you live. If your daycare facility is apart from your home, then I would definetly keep the address.
