I would let a 12 year old babysit while I did some things around the house, or worked outside or something.
But I would never trust a 12 year old to watch my kids without an adult "supervising".

I believe a 12yr old may be capable of babysitting depending on the maturity level of the girl and the age of the child she would be babysitting for. I allowed my son to babysit when he was 12 because he was very mature and the kids he was sitting for were pre school age and he was able to play with them and keep them occupied. Also I knew the parents very well and I discussed it with them when they asked me and I had him take a babysitting course that the local community college offered. I also got him a prepaid cell phone for that reason so if they went to the park or out in the yard or for a walk whatever I wanted to make sure he could contact us for anything anytime he would need to. It worked out very well and he sat for them till he was 15 because then he got a job after school and was only able to sit for them on Friday and Saturday nights. Good Luck xoxo

It depends on the 12 year old.. I started baby sitting when I was 10.. For some reason parents trusted me with their children.. It definitely depends on their maturity level and how they are with responsibility.. Occasionally you'll find a youngster that behaves more like an adult, than a preteen. If you are hesitant, you could aways ask the 12 year old to come over, so u can supervise and make note of their behavior around your children..

No. If there's an adult around "just in case", I'd be okay with it. But I wouldn't let a 12 year old babysit alone.

It relatively relies upon on if she's you recognize... good. I performed violent video games whilst i replace into 12, even in the previous then. i'm high-quality. probably ought to have asked her mothers and dads nevertheless... i'm specific she'll be ok. "No. in certainty why no longer set her up with some crack and coach her the final corners to stand on. possibly get her outfitted for her first strap-on." relatively...? you're evaluating a video activity to no longer undemanding drugs and intercourse?

i say this all the time but most states dont even recommend a child being left alone to take care themselves until she is 12. if she is just ready to take care of herself she is not yet ready to take care of somebody else.

No. I would recommend her as a Mother's Helper.
All the best.

I wouldn't. She might panic and if something happens, she wouldn't be able to take my daughter to the hospital. Plus, We'd have to get her and drop her off. That's just us though. Other people might.
